• Who do you work with?

We serve high-net-worth families, retirees, and business owners who want to preserve and potentially grow wealth while maintaining direct access to their portfolio manager. Many of our clients come to us after working with large firms that prioritized product sales over personalized advice. We offer a boutique experience where every client receives individual attention, discretion, and transparency.

  • What makes your firm different from the big firms?

Unlike large financial institutions, we’re independent. That means we answer only to our clients, not to shareholders or sales targets. We manage every portfolio in-house, so you always know who’s handling your investments and why. There are no third-party managers, model portfolios, or product incentives, just bespoke portfolio management built around your goals and values.

  • Do you act as a fiduciary?

Yes, always. We are fiduciaries* in every sense, legally and ethically obligated to act in your best interest. Because we charge a transparent advisory fee rather than commissions, our success is directly tied to yours. Every recommendation we make is based on long-term strategy, not short-term sales.

*Advisors are only legally obligated to act as a fiduciary in advisory relationships.  Advisors are not legally obligated to act as a fiduciary in Brokerage only relationships.

  • What types of clients do you typically serve?

Our clients include successful professionals, retirees transitioning from active careers, and multigenerational families seeking comprehensive wealth management. Many are business owners navigating liquidity events or succession planning. Regardless of your stage of life, we focus on aligning your investments, tax strategy, and estate plan to serve your long-term vision.

  • What is your investment philosophy?

We believe every portfolio should be as individual as the person it represents. Our approach combines bottom-up fundamental research with a theme-oriented strategy that targets enduring trends—like artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, energy transition, and healthcare innovation. We adjust exposure based on your goals, income needs, and risk tolerance to build balanced, tax-efficient portfolios that grow with discipline and purpose.

  • Do you use third-party investment managers?

No. Every portfolio is managed directly by us. We don’t outsource decisions or rely on pre-packaged models. This gives us full control over sector weightings, risk, and tax positioning, allowing us to respond quickly to market changes and opportunities.

  • How do you build and manage portfolios?

Each portfolio starts with a deep understanding of your financial picture: your goals, cash flow needs, tax situation, and risk comfort. From there, we design a customized allocation that blends equities, fixed income, and alternative investments in a way that reflects your objectives. Portfolios are actively managed and continuously monitored for opportunities to improve performance or reduce taxes.

  • What kind of financial planning do you provide?

We provide comprehensive planning that integrates investment management, tax strategy, estate planning, and philanthropic giving. Our goal is to ensure every part of your financial life works together. We advise on trust structures like SLATs, ILITs, GRATs, IDGTs, and QPRTs, helping clients seek to protect assets and transfer wealth efficiently across generations.

  • Do you offer charitable or philanthropic planning?

Yes. Many of our clients use charitable remainder trusts (CRTs), charitable lead trusts (CLUTs), donor-advised funds (DAFs), and family foundations. We help design these strategies so you can give with purpose while preserving control, flexibility, and tax advantages.

  • How do you charge for your services?

We charge a transparent assets-under-management (AUM) fee, typically around 1.0%. There are no commissions, trading fees, or hidden costs. For portfolios above $5 million, fees are negotiable. This structure aligns our interests with yours: when your portfolio grows, so do we.

  • Do you offer virtual meetings?

Yes. We work with clients nationwide through secure virtual meetings by Zoom or phone. Most forms and documents can be handled electronically, allowing us to provide the same high level of service no matter where you’re located.

  • What happens if something happens to you?

We have a full continuity plan in place through LPL Financial and The Private Trust Company to ensure seamless service and asset management. Your accounts, strategy, and documents remain secure and uninterrupted, giving you confidence.

  • Do you time the market?

No. We don’t attempt to predict short-term market movements. Instead, we focus on disciplined positioning, research, and adaptability. Our approach is built to weather volatility and capture opportunities without unnecessary risk.

  • How do taxes factor into your investment approach?

Tax efficiency is central to every portfolio we build. We use strategies like tax-loss harvesting, asset location, and charitable gifting to help reduce your tax burden. Our goal is to grow your after-tax wealth, not just your pre-tax returns.

All investing involves risk including loss of principal. No strategy assures success or protects against loss.

  • What’s the best way to get started?

It begins with a conversation. We’ll discuss your goals, current investments, and long-term objectives. From there, we’ll outline a clear strategy for managing and preserving your wealth. To schedule a consultation, reach out by phone, email, or through our contact form.
